Hangzhou, China 2009

The Legendary Hangzhou Adventure

It was like an “Amazing Race” for us. We were supposed to take a cab to take us to terminal but for some reason, there wasn’t any available cab in sight. So we had no choice but to walk, no screw that, we had to run across town to catch the train, we were running behind schedule and had to rush through. There are buses but we don’t know the exact route. It’s not always been easy to communicate with the Chinese as most of them didn’t speak in English.

It was difficult, and God I’m sooo TIRED. My feet hurts from walking all day. I thought I’m gonna pass out any minute but surprisingly, my stamina lasted throughout the walk/run lol it was getting dark and I was worried that we might get stranded in the middle of nowhere. Scary! Good thing, F knows how to navigate the map. Thank God, we didn’t get lost. After hours of walking and running and praying, finally we saw a cab. Kala namin malapit na kami kase parang ang lapit sa map pag tinignan mo pero malayo pa pala. Buti nalang nakaabot kami. We arrived 5 minutes before boarding time.

A long walk to remember 🙂
